The new replacement for the No1 Mk.IV NBC suit, CQC's "Targa" CBRN suit is latest addition to the ADF's CBRN defence arsenal.
Lightweight and versatile, the 2-piece suit consisting of a smock and trousers is made out of fire & water/oil retardant Rip-Stop polyester with an activated carbon suit liner.
The majority of the suits currently in use with the ADF are in the obsolete Auscam/DPC (Disruptive Camouflage Pattern), however, some suits in the current issue AMC (Australian Multi-Cam) pattern can be observed.
The suit would be paired with the Airboss manufactured gloves and overboots, along with their Low Burden Mask (LBM), or in instances where an LBM is not available, an S10/ADF-10 will be used.
